Welcome to our Web Tambayan
This is a revamp of our old website (WebTambayan v2 beta, eka nga).
"V2" because the design and layout has been changed somehow to (hopefully) improve on the first version, and to take advantage of larger monitor resolutions, and the site has been migrated to a (again hopefully) better platform (we are now using MODx instead of Joomla). The color scheme has also been redone a bit and we now look a lot more like...Ubuntu (though that was not intentional, or rather unconsciously achieved by the designer).
"Beta" because a lot of things are still in the testing stage, and a lot more is still under development. Beta status aside, we need the site to be up and running so that usable sections could already be...well, used. And other members could already contribute or send in their suggestions for the site. Anyway, I'm just rambling on because, as you might have noticed, the site doesn't have a lot of content yet, and this might just look better than putting in a lot of "lorem ipsum" paragraphs.
We expect to get article contributions from other members with which to fill out the rest of the sections in the next few days. In the meantime, feel free to browse through the site and keep on visiting for updates.
By the way, member accounts from the old site are still being migrated. So if you are a registered member in the old site you won't be able to use yet the login facility at the right. For now, the login and registration boxes only exists for testing purposes. Please wait for an announcement in the UP Tau Rho Xi egroup when you could already login or register.
